With the growth in removal actions, courts have been overwhelmed, and this has led to complaints (U.S. Congress, 2010). Immigration and Customs Enforcement must be aware of the possible disruption and must attempt to target aggressive violators of illegal workers. ICE must undertake initiatives to ensure that families remain united in the course of deportation. This involves opening of deportation camps to enable families stay together during the removal and deportation process. Moreover, ICE must develop innovative ways of removing illegal immigrants via detention centers. Such initiatives include expedited removals and scheduled operation departures (Studeman, 2002).
